A TRIP TO 1000HEADS FOR A PLAY WITH THEIR IPAD AND MI-FI

Im seriously loosing track of days, but I believe it was last Thursday or was it Friday? Its not important, what is important is that I had my first play with an iPad! Needless to say, all my pre-judgments flew out the window and i was in love!

I have to say; the interactive story of Alice in Wonderland application was probably my favorite. The combination of interactivity, stunning visuals along side they story line conjured up a perfect mix. I think any child would find reading a lot more interesting and less of a ‘homework-esque’ chore if more eBooks like this were published.

The other applications I had a play with also didn’t let me down. A milestone above the iphone or the ipod touches applications, the height resolution screen allowed for a more enjoyable experience. If I had t fault the iPad (which is difficult, granted) I would say that the lack of inbuilt camera is a little bit of a let down. But then I think, who would really hold up a (approx) 9.5-inch by 7.5-inch device to take a picture? Who knows what’s in the pipe line anyway, maybe there will be camera that connects to the iPad, maybe the next generation will have an in built camera?

Not only did i get the chance to test drive an iPad before i buy one (because i will) i got to try out 3 mobiles new Mi-Fi. If you took an average dongle, allowed it to connect 5 devices at one time, each to a fast and efficient service anywhere you like, you would be pretty much on the mark with what this new device from 3 mobile allows. Videos were loading pretty much right away, and sites would load at one click! Needless to say, I was impressed.

I also feel I should note, the people at 1000heads are so nice!
